Alfalfa,
Wheat, Barley and Oats
LiquaDry’s grasses are organically grown in the rich
soils of Millard County, Utah, U.S.A. Millard County was once
part of an ancient seabed. The sediment deposited from this
body of water, combined with an evaporating runoff from a watershed
of millions of acres of wilderness has created a deep, rich
soil base full of minerals and nutrients. The plants are grown
and harvested from this wholesome soil.
The young grass plants
are harvested at the peak of their nutritional value, just
before the jointing stage. The jointing stage is
when the tissue of the grass leaf begins to form a stem. The
chlorophyll, protein, and vitamin content declines rapidly
after the jointing stage as the cellulose levels increase to
form a mature, seed bearing plant. This makes it imperative
to harvest the grass before the jointing occurs. LiquaDry conducts
several tests on the young plants throughout the growing season
to determine the best time to harvest. This ensures a grass
product that is at its peak nutritionally and is the most beneficial
as a supplement.
Alfalfa and Cereal Grasses have
a nutritional profile similar to spinach and other dark leafy
green vegetables.
They are
naturally high in vitamins, enzymes, chlorophyll, calcium,
iron, magnesium, potassium, beta-carotene and other antioxidants.
After
the grass is gently harvested, it is immediately transported
to the facility, juiced and quickly processed to a dry powder.
Blue-Green
Algae
Our Blue-Green Algae, Aphanizomenon flos-aqua, comes from the
pristine waters of the Upper Klamath Lake. The algae is harvested
and handled so that it arrives at our drying facility alive
and fresh. Our handling techniques and BioActive Dehydration™ preserves
the color, flavor, aroma and nutritional content of the algae.
Algae has a complete array of vitamins, minerals and essential
fatty acids. It is also very high in protein, chlorophyll and
beta carotene. Fruits and Vegetables
LiquaDry's Fruits and Vegetables are grown throughout the western
United States. After harvesting they are shipped to our facility
for juicing and drying. Our process removes the water and cellulose
leaving a very nutritious concentrated powder. We capture and
maintain the beneficial properties of fresh produce for a more
convenient use. i.e. capsules, tablets, drink mixes and food
bars.
Minerals
LiquaDry’s mineral powder is extracted from ancient mineral
deposits in Emery County, Utah. The concentrated liquid is
then shipped to our facility for drying.
Aloe Vera
LiquaDry dries the leaf gel of Aloe Vera that has been grown
throughout the southwestern US and Mexico. We supply various
growers with a dry finished product of exceptionally high quality.
